Default 15 War/Mo... What should my Str / Axe Mast Ratio be?

Just came back to GW's after a LONG break. This War/Mo is 2 weeks old. Got full set of Draknor's Platemail Dyed and Runed. Decent near max icy chaos axe and a nice STR based shield.

Level 15
Healing 6 // Strength 9 // Axe Mastery 9

I think I'm gong to hit 7 in Healing and be done with it. It will get me 6 ticks of HP regen with "Healing Breeze"

Other than that, what do you suggest I sink my points into the last 5 levels? What ratio will help my damage output the most?

Thanks - Witt

First of all, dont use healing breeze. Second of all, I rarely run more than 9 strength in any warrior build.

Why don't you try and squeeze +3 out of Mending, too? /cough

Anyway, the points spent in Axe Mastery are more important than Strength.

Go 0 healing and no Healing Breeze, it sucks. If you want defense use the Tactis attribute for the much better Healing Signet and soem defensive stances. Right now just switch those healing attributes to Tactics. And unless you're using Strength skills it's not worth it to put attributes in strength. I would go 14-16 axe mastery, 10 tactics, and 10 Strength if you have strength skills at level 20.

run your attributes like Lotrfish said. that means 12(+ 1 +1-3), 9(+1), 9(+1).

and don use healing breeze on a warrior. dont even use it on a monk, dont use it ever.

^except for 55 sometimes
I play w/mo alot for farming and stuff, i use live vicariosly but other than that and mending touch, no monkage for me. I suggest pretty high axe (like 14-16) 10ish tactics(with a minor rune) 8-9 strength, and the rest in whatever.

lol dont even use vigorous spirit, warriors are dmg dealers remember that... if you have a monk on your team you should really need to bring any other heals then healing sig.

This prooves my exact point in this thread. People get run to Drok's, and have no clue how to play their character.

As you can tell Witt a Warrior/Monk is not a favorite combo for many players...although it certainly has its uses and such.... For the most part as a warrior you want to Deal damage....so this means

For a team build where you are fighting with heros/hench or other players you want to do as much dmg as you can...unless specifically asked to only be a tank.

You want to run atleast 12 in your primary weapon attribute be it sword/hammer/axe

Most people also think Strength sucks which is probably does since there is no way to actually see what it does.... so dump your points into tactics and use the healing Signet and some stances as was mentioned earlier....

Don't worry about being a monk secondary at this time...it is actually a very viable secondary especially for newer players.....once you ascended and complete certain quests you will have the options to change your secondary as often as you like....(also you can change your attributes at any town/outpost to work with whatever skills you take)

For example i often play as a Warrior/Ranger (currently capping ranger skills) but it doesn't always suit what i want to do so i change my secondary quite often.... Like if i wanted to solo some trolls or some mele type of boss...or what have you ....with the introductions of hero/henchman controls you can actually have a build that is for a specfic boss....fight with hench/hero to boss .....kill everything but boss....send hench/hero away (until greyed) then kill boss and you will have a better chance at a green weapon or whatever....

A great place to look for builds would be www.guildwiki.org or atleast i think there are still builds there.

Good Luck

Basically:

Weapon: 14 (no sup)
Tactics: 10 or 11
Str: 9ish

10-11 Tactics for a 122-130 heal sig, minor weapon rune for higher HP. Do a bar like this and you'll own PvE:

Eviscerate, Executioners Strike, Penetrating Blow, Distracting Blow, Frenzy, Rush, Heal Sig, Res Sig

Alternatively, bring a hard res like Flesh of my Flesh or something. Frenzy is good if you are smart, Distracting Blow owns all casters, Penetrating stacks with Strength and Sundering for massive crits, etc etc.

Also, try this if you are using only yourself as melee:

Triple Chop, Cyclone Axe, Executioner's Strike, Agonizing Chop? (the one that gives 3 adren if blocked), Wild Blow/DBlow, Flail, Rush, Res

Wild Blow if vs foes with stances, Dblow vs casters.

Going with the tactics line is the way to go for healing and just using the resurrection skills for the monk. Granted when I first started in prophecies I used Live Vicariously and/or Vigorous Spirit with mostly adrenaline skills. You do not have the pips in energy to keep something like Healing breeze going for too long.
